Why full-band works here.
The point of Studio A has never been about any single piece of gear. It's about the shape of the room — the asymmetric walls that de-correlate the early reflections, the floating floor that kills structural bleed, the isolation booths close enough that the drummer can still see the vocalist's eye contact across the live floor.
You hear it on playback. The drums sit in their own pocket because they were recorded in their own pocket. The vocal breathes because the singer was breathing in the room, not in a box.

D-Command into Pro Tools Ultimate HDX. Analog bus via the 1176 and LA-2A on the way in; the mix chain leaves them in the patch bay. Neumann U87 on the vocalist, Royer 121 on the guitar amp, AKG 414s as overheads, a pair of 87s for room. We print everything.

How do I book STUDIO A?
Start at audioloungela.com/book. Pick STUDIO A, choose Room Only or With Engineer, then pick your 6-hour block. The booking confirms instantly when payment goes through.
What's the session length?
STUDIO A books in 6-hour blocks ($250 per 6-hour block). Setup and breakdown are included in the booked time, bring your drives loaded.
Is an engineer included, or do I bring my own?
Pick With Engineer at booking and an Audio Lounge engineer is included for the full block (it's a separate price tier on the booking page). Choose Room Only if you're bringing your own engineer or self-producing.
What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your session. Inside 48 hours, we hold 50%. Inside 24 hours, full rate, the room was yours and we turned other bookings away. Reschedules inside 48 hours don't trigger the fee.
Can I rent gear that isn't listed?
STUDIO A fits 6-8 comfortably, and its standard gear list covers most workflows. If you need something specific (a specific mic, outboard, amp), email bookings@audioloungela.com at least a week out and we'll quote rental day-of.
Do you have parking?
Free on-site parking for up to four vehicles. Load-in is at the side entrance with a roll-up door, we'll meet you there at your start time.
