Audio Lounge

Audio Lounge is a studio booking platform. This application connects a recording studio’s Google Calendar to its bookable rooms so that confirmed sessions appear on the studio’s calendar and the studio’s own calendar blocks close the public booking page.

What the app does

  • When a client books a session in one of your rooms, the app writes that session to the Google Calendar you connected for that room, with the room, the client's name, and the time.
  • When you put a block on that Google Calendar, the app reads it and closes those hours on your public booking page, so a client cannot book over it.
  • Each room connects to its own calendar. Disconnecting one room does not touch another.

The permission it asks for

One Google scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — view and edit events on calendars you connect.

The app asks for this when a studio operator presses Connect on a room in their studio console. Google shows the consent screen; nothing is connected until the operator approves it. The app stores a refresh token for that room only, so it can keep the room’s calendar in sync without asking again.

What it does not do

  • It never reads calendars you did not connect, and never reads events outside the calendar you chose for a room.
  • It never sends mail from your Google account, never changes your contacts, and never shares calendar data with anyone but the studio that connected it.
  • It never sells, aggregates, or uses calendar data for advertising. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the calendar sync described on this page.

How to disconnect

In the studio console, open Calendar and press Disconnect on the room. The app deletes that room’s token at once and stops reading or writing that calendar. You can also revoke the app from your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps & services; the app treats a revoked token as disconnected.

Sessions already written to your calendar stay on it; they are your events.
